Moving.
Everything is moving right now.
Production is running. Potentially two popups in Japan this summer. A magazine - I've never made one before. A digital lookbook.
More things in motion at once than I've ever had before. It feels exciting.
I don't usually talk about what's coming before it's here.
But I wanted you to know this summer is going to be different. Been working in silence, but the results won't be quiet.
Tokyo soon.

These past weeks didn't have much excitement. No big decisions. No crisis.
Just building.
I feel like this is the part that brand owners dont show. The nothingness.
As a brand, it feels like there always has to be something to give to your people. But sometimes there really is nothing.
Someone said something to me recently:
You are what you repeatedly do.
I think about that a lot with VERUZ. No social media. No shortcuts. Just building something real, quietly, every day.
Tokyo Popup is coming. The drop is coming. But right now it's just me and the work.
That's more than enough.

Last week I talked about how Tokyo is home to me.
This week I want to talk about what its like to actually be there.
To me, summer is about the balance between two things:
Beach, and the City.
So is there a balance?
I want to try represting this through clothing.
One thing I'm working on right now for the summer collection is a bandana.

Every summer I go back to Tokyo. It is what feels most like home to me.
This summer is different.
Not because Tokyo changed, but because I'm bringing more than myself.
Something I built with meaning.

Thank you to everyone for coming to the first
VERUZ Pop-Up in San Francisco.
I hope that we were able to provide you
with a space where you could feel present,
and most importantly authentic.
Still processing all of it. I am so thankful for everyone that was involved in making this possible.
I genuinely had such a great time meeting new people that resonate over something similar, authenticity.

As some of you may know, on April 9th in San Francisco,
we will be having our first pop-up.
We are working endlessly to make sure it is an event that is enjoyable and meaningful.
A place where you can feel like yourself, and gather with community.
Its been ups and downs but everything will be falling into place soon. Good things take time.
This is the 4th journal entry, and it feels great to be able to communicate with you.
Thanks for your presence, and I'll see you in the next post.

APRIL 9TH
There will be live Jazz and exclusive pieces.
First few to arrive get complimentary garments.
On us.
(Details will be sent via email)
One of the biggest things in the work right now is a POP-UP.
One in San Francisco
One in London
One in Tokyo
I want it to be a space where you can feel like yourself.
Oh, and live music. Personally, I tend to feel most relaxed when I listen to music.
Everything sold will be exclusive to the pop-up.
If you see this, you're the first to know, not because of an algorithm but because you're meant to. It feels like i'm going on tour lol.
More details next next week.
The first piece of the SPRING 26' drop is decided.
All I can say is that one thing comes to mind when I think of spring in Japan.
